Know the Lord

[The Glory Unveiled]

None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. [ Hebrews 8:11 NIV ]

Beloved, hear this profound and unchanging truth: We must each know the Lord for ourselves. This is no mere suggestion—it is the heartbeat of the new covenant God has made with His people. The reality strikes deepest in those crucible moments of life—when trials press in, when counsel falls silent, when the soul stands alone before eternity. In such hours we discover that no proxy, no intermediary, can bear the weight of our deepest need. We cannot borrow another’s intimacy with God. We must possess it personally, vitally, unshakably. Look back to the Old Testament era. God’s people relied heavily on prophets, priests, and teachers to discern His ways. Without a guide to interpret the law, without a mediator to inquire of the Lord, the common Israelite remained at a distance. Knowledge of God was mediated, filtered, dependent on human vessels. Where the prophet was absent, the people groped in spiritual darkness. But God declared a revolutionary promise—one that shatters the old order and ushers in breathtaking nearness: “No longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD.” (Jeremiah 31:34, echoed in Hebrews 8:11). This is the glory of the gospel age! Through the finished work of Christ, God has torn down every barrier. He has sent His own Spirit to dwell within every believer—not as a guest who visits occasionally, but as a permanent resident who never departs. The Holy Spirit is now our direct access to the Father’s heart. He guides us into all truth (John 16:13), convicts, comforts, illuminates Scripture, and whispers the very mind of God to our spirits. And marvel of marvels: He makes no distinction between the mighty and the lowly. From the greatest to the least—whether scholar or simple laborer, elder or new convert—every child who has received Jesus as Lord and Savior enjoys this unspeakable privilege. The Spirit does not discriminate; He democratizes divine intimacy.

So rise up, child of God! Do not settle for secondhand faith. Do not lean perpetually on the arm of another to hear from heaven. Press in. Listen. Cry out. The same Spirit who moved upon the prophets of old now resides in you, beckoning you to know the Lord deeply, personally, transformingly—for yourself.

In this intimate knowing lies true freedom, unshakable confidence, and the fullness of joy that no circumstance can steal. May we each pursue it with holy hunger, until we stand face to face with the One we have come to know so well. Amen.

Prayer_Bead: Father, thank you for the privilege to have your Spirit dwelling in me.

Wisdom_Quote: The Spirit of God is a permanent resident in the believer.

Salvation Prayer: Dear Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and Saviour, come into my heart and rule my life.

Theme: The Power of His word

They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.[ Titus 1:16 NIV ]

It is not enough to know the Word of God intellectually or understand it theologically. We must bring our lives under its authority and submit to it in wholehearted obedience. In truth, we cannot claim to know the Word if that Word is not Lord over our lives. Scripture reminds us that some profess to know God, yet by their actions they deny Him. Their disobedience exposes their confession as empty, and their inconsistency disqualifies them from doing the good they claim to represent. Knowledge without obedience is not faith—it is self-deception. Whenever we say, “I know God” or “I love God,” our words carry little weight until they are tested by our conduct. Every confession awaits its proof. Heaven listens, earth watches, and our lives are summoned to validate what our lips proclaim. The world is not starving for more religious language. It is weary of hollow professions. What it longs to see are believers whose faith is visible, whose devotion is practical, and whose obedience is undeniable—men and women whose lives preach louder than their voices. God is not seeking more talkative Christians. He is raising up living epistles—followers whose actions confess Christ even when their mouths are silent. So let us move beyond empty claims. Let us silence excuses, abandon hypocrisy, and embody the life of Jesus. Not merely speaking like Him or knowing about Him. But living as He lived. In short: stop talking, and start walking like Christ.

Prayer_Bead: Father, thank you for showing me through your word what the world is starving for. Help me to supply it.

Wisdom_Quote: The world does not seek more professing believers but rather more practicing believers.

Salvation Prayer: Lord Jesus, come into my heart as my Saviour and Lord. Come and rule and reign in my life.

Prepare for a new thing.

[The Glory Unveiled]

Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.” [ Joshua 3:5 NIV ]

In the agenda of God, preparation always precedes breakthrough. Before God releases something new, He first calls us to prepare for it. Scripture reminds us in the Gospel of Matthew 9:17, that no one pours new wine into old wineskins. New wine must be placed in new wineskins, so that both the wine and the vessel are preserved. In the same way, when God is about to introduce a new dimension of His work in our lives, He looks for a vessel prepared and ready to carry it. Every new move of God demands new capacity. It requires a new mindset, a renewed strategy, and a fresh expectation. We cannot host tomorrow’s blessing with yesterday’s thinking. We cannot sustain new grace with old habits. We must become new vessels for a new season. God’s new agenda always comes with divine requirements. Access is granted to those who are willing to prepare. That is why Joshua told the people of Israel to consecrate themselves before God moved among them. The wonders God had planned were tied to their willingness to separate themselves, realign their hearts, and make room for Him. Breakthrough did not come by accident. It came through obedience. Miracles were released on the platform of preparation. God moved because the people were ready. Beloved, the old cannot walk comfortably into the new world God is creating. Old mindsets cannot carry fresh anointing. Old patterns cannot sustain new purposes. If we desire new wine, we must become new wineskins. If we long for greater glory, we must embrace deeper consecration. Preparation is not delay—it is alignment. Consecration is not loss—it is positioning. And when we are properly prepared, heaven responds. Then, and only then, does God release the new thing He has ordained for our lives.

Prayer_Bead: Father, thank you for the privilege to partake in your new agenda.

Wisdom_Quote: A new world opens to new people.

Association with Jesus

[The Glory Unveiled]

“Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.[ Matthew 11:11 NKJV ]

Greatness in the Kingdom of Heaven is not measured by our achievements, our titles, or our visible labor. It is measured by our relationship with Jesus Christ. In God’s economy, value is not found in what our hands have done, but in whom our hearts trust. It is not about how much we accomplish, but about how deeply we abide. This truth is beautifully illustrated when Jesus visited the home of Mary and Martha of Bethany. Mary sat quietly at His feet, doing nothing but listening, receiving, and loving His presence. Martha, on the other hand, was busy—serving, organizing, working hard to honor her Guest. Yet in the end, it was Mary, who seemed inactive, who was commended. Why? Because she chose intimacy over industry. She chose presence over performance. This teaches us a powerful lesson: in God’s Kingdom, activity is not the same as importance. Busyness is not proof of spiritual greatness. Productivity is not the measure of divine approval. What matters most is proximity to Christ. Consider also John the Baptist. Before him came mighty prophets—men who spoke with fire, performed signs, and carried heavy spiritual assignments. Yet none of them lived to see the Messiah face to face. John did. And because he encountered Christ personally, he was declared greater than those who came before him. Not because he did more, but because he knew Him. And then comes the astonishing truth: Jesus declares that even the least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than John. Why? Because those in the Kingdom are joined to Christ. They are rooted in Him. They are redeemed by His blood. They live in living relationship with Him. This means that our greatness does not come from our résumé, our reputation, or our religious activity. It flows from our union with Christ. Those who belong to Him, who walk with Him, who trust in Him, and who are redeemed by Him, carry a dignity that no human achievement can produce. That is why it is such a profound privilege to call Him Lord and Savior. To be associated with Jesus is the highest honour of all. To be known by Him is greater than being known by the world. To walk with Him is greater than any work we could ever do. In the Kingdom of Heaven, sitting at Jesus’ feet will always matter more than running in our own strength.

Prayer_Bead: Father, thank you for the privilege to be connected to Jesus.

Wisdom_Quote: The value of the believer is found in their association with Jesus.

Salvation Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you for the sacrifice you made for humanity. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour from today henceforth.

Prisoners of Love

[The Glory Unveiled]

Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; For love is as strong as death, Jealousy as cruel as the grave; its flames are flames of fire, a most vehement flame. [ Song of Songs 8:6 NKJV ]

Yesterday, we learned that love is as strong as death. And this is so because the true measure of love is not found in words, feelings, or intentions—it is found in sacrifice. It is revealed in our willingness to choose another above ourselves, just as Jesus did. Scripture teaches us to esteem others better than ourselves. Christ modeled this perfectly. He chose the Father’s will over His own. He chose obedience over comfort. He chose the cross over escape. Love drove Him there. Love held Him there. And love finished the work there. That is why love is as strong as death—because real love is willing to die. Love always demands death: the death of pride, the death of self-interest, the death of selfish ambition. To love truly is to lay something down. The Scripture says, “Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm.” In other words, make me an imprint upon your inner life. Engrave me upon your affections. Bind me to your actions. Let me mark you permanently. It is a call to devotion. It is a call to surrender. It is a call to become a prisoner of love. And a prisoner cannot belong to two prisons. You cannot be fully bound to love and still be free to selfishness. You cannot be sealed to one and still roaming with many. True love demands exclusivity. It demands loyalty. It demands focus. That is why Scripture says jealousy is as cruel as the grave, and its flames are flames of fire. When love is divided, jealousy reveals its severity. When devotion is uncertain, passion becomes destructive. When commitment is shallow, affection becomes dangerous. But when love is sealed, when it is anchored, when it is devoted, it becomes powerful and life-giving. This is why, in pursuing love, we must first become prisoners of God’s love. Before we can give ourselves to others, we must first surrender ourselves to Him. Before we can love faithfully, we must be loved deeply. Before we can be sealed to people, we must be sealed to God. When His love imprisons us—when His grace binds us, when His truth marks us, when His will shapes us—then and only then can we extend that same selfless, sacrificial, steadfast love to others. Love is strong as death because it costs everything. And only those who have died to themselves can truly live in love.

Prayer_Bead: Father, thank you for showing me the way of love. Help me to become a prisoner of your love.

Wisdom_Quote: Only prisoners of love become keepers of love relationships.

Salvation Prayer: Dear Jesus, I accept your lordship today, make me your bond servant from today forward.

Will you die for your Lover?

[The Glory Unveiled]

Many waters cannot quench love, nor can the floods drown it. If a man would give for love. All the wealth of his house, it would be utterly despised. [ Song of Songs 8:7 NIV ]

The flames of true love cannot be quenched by many waters. To pour oceans upon it would still be a waste, for when love truly burns, nothing can extinguish it. Scripture declares that even if a man were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly despised. This reveals a powerful truth: the worth of love cannot be measured in money, gifts, or possessions. Love is not quantified by material things. Neither is love measured merely by what someone does for you. Acts of kindness, sacrifices, and generosity may express love, but they are not its ultimate standard. The Lord Jesus Himself established the highest measure of love when He said that greater love has no man than this: that he lays down his life for his friends. In other words, love reaches its fullest expression when a life is completely surrendered—even unto death. This is why Scripture declares that love is as strong as death. Only death can match the intensity of love. Only death can satisfy its demands. Love does not negotiate. Love does not bargain. Love gives itself fully. The true measure of love, therefore, is the willingness to die for the one you love. Jesus demonstrated this love perfectly. He did not merely speak about love. He lived it. He walked in it. And He sealed it with His blood. He was willing to stop living so that we could live. He surrendered His breath so that we might receive eternal life. He chose the cross so that we could choose life. That is the greatest love ever displayed. For married couples and those in relationships, this truth carries a deep lesson. True love is learning to die daily—to die to selfishness, pride, stubbornness, and personal comfort for the sake of your partner. It is choosing their wellbeing over your convenience. It is laying down your will so that love may live. Today, as you go out to celebrate Valentine’s Day, understand this: the true worth of someone’s love is not found in gifts, messages, or promises. It is found in your willingness to die—literally and symbolically—by setting aside your own interests to advance theirs. And if you put human love to this test, most of it will fail. No person can love perfectly. No human heart can sustain such depth without weakness. That is why many hearts are broken. That is why many promises collapse. But there is One whose love has never failed. Jesus loved you to the point of death—and He still loves you today. Turn to Him. He will not break your heart. He will heal it. He will restore it. He will mend what others have damaged. He will love you with an everlasting love. For His love is stronger than death.

Prayer_Bead: Father, thank you for giving out your son for me. And thank you Jesus for the great price you paid for my salvation. I am eternally grateful.

Wisdom_Quote: The true price of love is death.

Salvation Prayer: Dear Jesus, come into my heart and be my Saviour and Lord. I believe that you died for me and rose again for my justification. Make me a child of God.

Arrows of Sin

[The Glory Unveiled]

If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”[ Genesis 4:7 NKJV ]

Sin is like a skillful hunter, lying in wait for the man or woman who begins to drift in their heart. It watches patiently, searching for an opening, seeking to capture the soul and lead it toward destruction. Our heart posture determines so much about our lives. It either gives permission to certain influences or shuts the door against them. Scripture teaches us that sin lies at the door of those who “do not do well.” Sin does not strike randomly; it looks for a basis, an opportunity, a foothold. It waits for offense, bitterness, pride, or disobedience—and when it finds one, it moves in. Every time we willfully disobey God’s holy law, we build a platform for sin to operate. And once that platform is in place, its wages are sure to follow. This is exactly what happened to Cain. When God accepted his brother’s sacrifice and not his, Cain allowed bitterness and rage to settle in his heart. Instead of dealing with it in humility, he nursed it in silence. That unhealthy heart posture gave sin access. It lay at the door of his heart, waiting. And the moment he opened that door, he acted on what had been brewing within him. Even after God warned him, he chose to proceed. Sin released its venomous arrow, pierced his heart, and led him to murder his own brother. But here is the good news: Scripture does not leave us vulnerable or helpless when sin aims its arrows at us. We are not powerless victims. We are given authority to resist. We are called not to be ruled by sin, but to rule over it. And how do we rule over it? By choosing God’s way of escape. Every temptation comes with a divine exit. Every attack has an appointed doorway to freedom. When we stay sensitive in our hearts, obedient in our walk, and anchored in God’s Word, we shut the door to sin and open the door to grace. Therefore, guard your heart. Watch its posture. Deal quickly with bitterness. Reject offense. Refuse disobedience. Because what you allow in your heart today will shape your actions tomorrow. And when your heart is aligned with God, sin may knock—but it will never rule.

Prayer_Bead: Father, thank you for showing me the ways of sin. Help me not to fall into its snare.

Wisdom_Quote: Sin lies at the door of the man or woman who dines with unrighteousness.

The faithfulness of God

[The Glory Unveiled]

So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, “Look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” And he said, “In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.” [ 2 Kings 7:2 NIV ]

God does not act at the mercy of human emotions, opinions, or desires. He is not moved to act in order to prove Himself because people refuse to believe in Him. Neither is He compelled to act because people believe and expect Him to respond for their approval. God is not governed by human reactions. He is governed by His own eternal will. Therefore, He does what He has determined to do. And whenever it seems as though God is acting because of man, it is not because man has manipulated Him. It is because His mercy is at work. It is because His steadfast love is reaching out. It is because His compassion is overflowing. Not because anyone has pulled His strings. Scripture tells us of an officer in the army of the king of Samaria who boldly declared that even if God opened windows in heaven, the word spoken by the prophet Elisha could never come to pass. In his eyes, God’s promise was impossible. Now, if God operated according to human faith alone, that officer’s unbelief would have cancelled the miracle. If God depended on man’s confidence, nothing would have happened. But God acted anyway. He fulfilled His word. He honored His promise. He performed His purpose—despite the doubt, despite the mockery, despite the unbelief. Because God does not adjust His will to suit the instability of human desires. He does not rewrite His plans to accommodate changing emotions. He does not bend His purposes to fit human limitations. He does what He purposed before time began. And those who love Him, those who walk with Him, find their lives aligned with His good pleasure. When God speaks, He stands by His word. When God promises, He fulfills it. When God declares, He performs it. Not because of man’s faithfulness—but because of His own. Has God said it? Then He will do it. Not for reputation. Not for approval. Not for persuasion. But for the sake of His name.

Prayer_Bead: Father, thank you for your faithfulness towards your word.

Wisdom_Quote: God’s faithfulness does not run on the capacity of man’s faith.

Salvation Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you for your sacrifice for me. I accept you as my Saviour and Lord.

Awakened Faith

[The Glory Unveiled]

Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. [ Luke 1:36 NIV ]

Whenever God brings us into a season of change—especially when He is about to do something that demands our faith—He first shows us signs of His supernatural power. He gives us living evidence of what He can do. He places before us testimonies, reminders, and divine examples to strengthen our confidence in Him. These are not accidental; they are intentional. They are God’s way of preparing our hearts and keeping us in eager expectation for what is coming. This means that whenever we are trusting God for something, we must learn to look back at His mighty works. We must continually remind ourselves of what He has done and what He is capable of doing. Faith is sustained by memory. When we remember His power, our doubts lose their voice. When Mary struggled to believe the extraordinary word spoken over her life, the angel pointed her to a present-day miracle. He said, “Even Elizabeth…”—even the one you know, even the one who was called barren, even the one beyond childbearing age—she is now with child. In other words, if God can do it for Elizabeth, then you can trust Him to do it for you. God used Elizabeth’s miracle as evidence for Mary’s miracle. He used one testimony to unlock another destiny. And in the same way, God is still doing this today. He is working in your environment. He is moving in your season. He is performing wonders around you—if only you will pay attention. Those testimonies you hear are not random. They are reminders. They are invitations to believe. So I ask you: What is God doing in this season of your life? What miracles has He placed around you? What signs of His faithfulness are before your eyes? Hold on to them. Meditate on them. Let them strengthen your faith Keep your trust in God. Keep your expectations alive. Keep your heart anchored in His promises. For He will surely do what He has said He will do.

Prayer_Bead: Father, thank you for stirring my faith in your faithfulness. I trust that you have done for me what you promise.

Wisdom_Quote: Whatever God has promised, you will catch a wind of it in your “neighbourhood”.

Salvation Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you for your faithfulness and love. I embrace your gift of Salvation. Come into my life and reign in it.

Midnight Treasures

[The Glory Unveiled]

I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel. [ Isaiah 45:3 NKJV ]

God often hides His treasures in places that are rarely visited and frequently despised. He stores His richest blessings in the shadows, in valleys most people avoid, in regions where only a few are willing to go. There is wealth in the heart of darkness. There is abundance in places others overlook. Treasures are often concealed where people are unwilling to journey, unwilling to wait, and unwilling to pay the price. There is a powerful lesson in the midnight data packages offered by internet service providers in Ghana—and in many other places as well. At midnight, they release larger and better bundles at a cheaper cost, knowing that most people will be asleep. The price is not in the money; the price is in staying awake. The real cost is discipline, sacrifice, and readiness. Only those who are alert are able to access the treasure. Scripture echoes this truth in the parable of the ten virgins. They all went out to meet the Bridegroom. They all had lamps. They all had expectations. But when the Bridegroom delayed and arrived at midnight—when sleep had overtaken everyone—only five were prepared. Only five had extra oil. Only five had paid the price to remain ready. And only five entered into the celebration. The treasure was available to all, but only the prepared possessed it. In the same way, there is value hidden in places you are reluctant to visit. There is blessing in assignments you are unwilling to accept. There is wisdom in people you are tempted to despise. There is promotion in seasons you would rather escape. Many miss divine opportunities not because God is silent, but because the opportunity arrives in uncomfortable hours, inconvenient seasons, and unfamiliar places. These treasures are reserved for those who will press in, stay awake, remain faithful, and pay the price. If you are willing to endure the night, you will enjoy the riches of the morning. If you are willing to walk into the shadows, you will uncover divine wealth. And if you are willing to remain prepared, you will not miss your moment.

Prayer_Bead: Father, thank you for the privilege to pay the price for the treasure reserved for those who will pay the price. Thank you in Jesus name.

Wisdom_Quote: Treasures are hidden where pleasure is unwilling to visit.
