[The Glory Unveiled]
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. ( Habakkuk 2:3 )
An interesting attribute of God is His nature [ability] of seeing the end of a thing from its inception. So He would display the glory of His calling and purposes for us so that it would lure us into the path of destiny. And once we have consciously subscribed to that journey of becoming what He showed us, then gradually He reveals the little details that should take us there. But sometimes those little details show us that it is rather impossible to make it to the beautiful height we see. And this is not an error from God but an errand tool to make us keep our trust and hope in God seeing that we can’t make it on our own. And again, usually what we see at the beginning of our destiny journey is not the present but the future. It is only a glimpse of how the future will look like. The verse of scripture says, “though it linger, wait for it” Waiting is the acid test for faith and dependence on God. If anyone claims to be having faith in God, their ability to wait on God screams it out loud. So if we profess to have faith and yet struggle to wait on the promises of God, it’s a prove that we don’t really believe what God said to us. The promise and call of God may delay or linger to blossom. But there is an assurance in God’s word for us that says that it would surely come to pass. Whatever we have been called into is very important to the advancement of the Kingdom agenda and as a result we need to hold fast to what we have been called into. It may not yet be revealed what weight of glory the world would see through your obedience. Remain on your destiny journey. Stick to the path.
