Living dead people

[The Glory Unveiled]

“My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine! ‭‭[ Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬ ‭TPT‬‬ ]

When a new convert—someone who has just surrendered their life to Jesus—is told that they are now a new creation and that old things have passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17), it rarely reflects anything physical. Nothing about their height changes. Their hair or eye colour does not suddenly shift. Their skin does not take on a new texture or shade. No mirror will show a physical transformation. Because the transformation Scripture speaks of is far deeper. It happens in the unseen chambers of the spirit. It is a holy transaction—a divine exchange—where a person is lifted out of the dungeon of sin and darkness and ushered into the realm of life and light. They are transferred into a kingdom defined by righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Who we once were was nailed to the cross the moment Jesus died. By identifying with Him, we take upon ourselves His suffering and His punishment. We died with Him. And in that same breath of divine mystery, we rose with Him—raised, not with our old life patched together, but with His very resurrection life. After this great exchange—He taking our place and we taking His—our former life ceases to be the center of our identity. We no longer live by our own strength, our own merit, or our own wisdom, because the life we once lived died on that cross. Now, the only life we have is the life we draw by faith from Christ Himself. Without faith, we cannot live in His stead. Without faith, we cannot walk as if He were walking through us. Without faith, we cannot manifest the life that is no longer ours but His. Christ is the essence, substance, and heartbeat of our new existence. Our new life is Christ—and not us.

Prayer_Bead:Father, thank you for the opportunity to die with Jesus and resurrect with Him. Help me to live my new life for Him.

Wisdom_Quote: Faith gives us the license to represent Jesus.
