In telling every story of greatness, persistence is mentioned as a key component of that success. Persistence rewards with desired results. Most success stories are but the stories of how a determined individual decides not to quit until they have what they desire. Thomas Edison, wouldn’t quit until he had what he wanted, Henry Ford didn’t settle for anything less than what he envisioned, and certainly no other success story is without persistence. Nothing and nobody shuts the door in the face of persistence. The widow in Luke 18, used the persistence card on a wicked judge who attested to the fact that he does not fear God nor respect man. Such a wicked person gave the widow the justice she asked for. This is a judge who was wicked and will do whatever he wanted not what people ask him for. Yet, when the widow used the persistence card, the judge opened the door for her. Persistence says the answer is only a matter of time. If you continue consistently, you will have whatever you desire. And when you start, do not despise little beginnings. Keep at it consistently and in due time you will have whatever you desire.
