One in Christ

[The Glory Unveiled]

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. [ Galatians 3:28 KJV ]

In the beginning, God made humanity as one man. At that point, “man” was not merely a gender but a state of being—a shared identity and nature. Even after God distinguished humanity into male and female, they still remained one in essence and purpose. Unfortunately, sin distorted this reality. The fallen nature created the illusion of separation, making it seem as though humanity had become divided into different and disconnected groups. But that was never God’s intention. Though distinct in function, they were never meant to be separate in identity before Him. This same pattern is revealed in the new creation. In Christ, there is no room for discriminatory divisions or classifications. There are no factions, superior groups, or inferior groups. Through the finished work of Christ, the wall of partition has been broken down, and all who believe have been brought into one family, standing together before the Father and beholding His glory. Yet this truth is not merely something to know; it is something we must firmly hold on to. We must stand firm in the reality of our oneness in Christ so that the enemy does not deceive us into thinking that we are inferior, excluded, or separated because of any physical, social, or earthly distinction. The devil thrives on division, but God operates through unity. Every truth in Scripture becomes an experienced reality when it is believed from a place of understanding. The Word declares that we are one in Christ. Jesus Himself said that He and the Father are one. He also prayed that we would be one in Him just as He is one with the Father. This is not merely a poetic statement; it is a spiritual reality. Just as Jesus expressed His oneness with the Father in His words, works, power, and glory, we too are called to express our oneness with Him. As we embrace this truth, we begin to walk together in the fullness of His life, manifesting His power, reflecting His glory, and revealing His nature to the world.
